We don't get snow here. We get freak weather incidents.

Its freezing cold all winter and it never fails to only snow once! Whenever it rains, the wind blows the gym ceiling off of the school and the power goes out for a week or we have a tornado. It seems every time anything special happens with the weather at all, a huge tree limb falls in our yard. Now we have 3 limbs lying around and only one is ours!
Oh well it's always really fun because the power always goes out and I get to sit in the darkness for days and miss school a lot!
But I was awake all night hearing trees and limbs fall, and thats probably one of the scariest sounds ever. Weather always reminds me of how small people are because its one of those things we have absolutly no control over. We can warn that it's going to happen, hide from it, enjoy it, watch, build dams, build shelters, use snowplows, and carry umbrellas, but we can't stop it or change it! It's a good reminder that God is bigger than anything, including us and the weather. Weather is one of those things he doesn't want us to control. That makes sense!
